Pendragon Print Shop is the heir to a larger, full-scale book publishing house, Pendragon Publishing Group, from the early 2000s. I love books. And I love art. So I began designing our covers and layouts when the digital world was being born and found that designing, using my imagination and elements from multiple sources--photos, illustrations, hand-drawn or painted art, was just really fun. But business and fun were hard to combine at that time, so Pendragon folded its wings and fell into a storybook sleep, tucked away, until a new opportunity dawned.

After a number of years painting in oils and pastels, the new digital programs were easier to bring all my favorite designing elements together and then print-on-demand appeared and the swirling eddies of life woke the sleeping dragon to become Pendragon Print Shop on Etsy. I am an officially authorized merchandiser for authors Sarah J. Maas, Rebecca Yarros, Rachel Gillig and Sarah A. Parker(with more to come). My designs for them are from my love of their work and my fellow readers.

And now, I am extremely pleased that I can offer the full product line of Pendragon Print Shop goods to my wonderful small, local and independent retailers and book shops. Smaller shops have limited access to licensed products and this is an opportunity to provide that access, support these small businesses and get the Pendragon products out in the wild!

Finally, why the name Pendragon? From Arthurian legends of old...the world of wizards and magic and honor and courage...King Arthur was The Pendragon, son of Uther Pendragon, clan chief.
